Setting boundaries is not easy.

Lot of people think it's bad, but is not.

Boundaries are healthy, necessary for live a healthy life and goods relationships.

How to etablish healthy boundaries in yours relationships ?

Say no :

No is the word the most important for setting boundaries.

When you say "no", you're not bad, you respect yourself.

That's the first point.

When you don't agree for anything, say "no"

You don't hurt people.

But when you say "yes" then you think "no", you hurt yourself !

When you always say "yes", you make engagement.

And if you make too much engagement, you can't honor them.

 

Be your prioritie :

Your person is the most important in your life.

To gain respect of other, you must be respectful with you.

You must consider your person into prioritie and you must be in the middle of your life

 

Get to know yourself :

Take a time for get to know yourself, your priorities and your boundaries.

What is ok for you ? What isn't ok for you ?

What do you like ?

What do you not like ?

It's important to get to know yourself to know where are your boundaries and fix them.

 

Exprim yours boundaries :

So that people respect yours boundaries, you must express then.

People can't respect boundaries if they ignore them.

You must exprim yours priorities and yours boundaries clearly.

You must say what you don't like in comportement of other. 

Be honest with other and with yourself.

 

Don't be scare about reaction of people:

Your entourage can understand yours boundaries.

If they appreciate you, they accept yours boundaries.

If they don't accepte yours boundaries, they haven't any place in your life.

That's simple.

You must be your prioritie in your life and people who like you can understand that.

People who like you want your happiness.

That's it.

 

You're not bad :

You're not bad, you live for your happiness and your personal development.

You're the main character of your life and it's normal to stay focus with your happiness.

Don't feel guilty when you fix yours boundaries. It's totally normal.

Every person are boundaries and it's important for live a healthy life.

you cannot move forward peacefully in your life without setting limits

 

Fix consequences :

Every boundarie have consequences.

if someone goes beyond your limits, they must face the consequence.

your limits are clear and if someone who knows them allows themselves to exceed them, then they do not respect you.

sets consequences for people who exceed your limits.

Exemple : you don't like someone's behavior and you make it clear to them. This person continues. You can decide to stop talking to him

Don't forget, your priorities is your happiness. If people don't respect yours boundaries, you must protect yourself in prioritie.

 

Respect doesn't option :

You doesn't ask for respect. You deserve respect.

It's not an option. It's a fact.

You doesn't ask permission to live.

You doesn't ask permission for fix boundaries.

Yours boundaries are yours, it is not negotiable.

Your happines is not negotiable and yourself is not an option
